Arteries
Takes blood away from heart.
- Pulmonary Artery takes blood away from heart to lungs.
- Possesses valves.
Veins
Takes blood from body to the heart
- Pulmonary Vein takes blood from the lungs to the heart
- Doesn’t possess valves.
Blood vessels are closely attached to the Lymphatic System
