Land resources are used for the following purposes:
- Forests
- Land not available for cultivation
- Cultivable Lands: a) Barren and wasteland. b) Land put to non-agricultural uses
- Fallow lands
- Other uncultivated lands (excluding fallow land)
- Net sown area : This represents the total area sown with crops and orchards
- Gross Cropped area : This represents the total area sown once and/or more than once in a particular year.
